The refund schedules for courses of duration shorter than eight weeks shall be determined by the business manager at a rate proportionate to the academic term schedule.

Summer session refund policies for course load reduction or withdrawals follow the term refund schedule with the exception that refunds are given only at the 100% and 50% levels. However, the Calendar Day requirements noted above by which withdrawal must occur does not apply. Calendar Day requirements for Summer Session vary based on the length of class and are published in the Summer Session Catalog. Courses meeting one week or less are refunded only at 100% level and require withdrawal prior to the day before classes begin.

Any student with orders to report for active military duty may withdraw at any time during the term and receive a full refund. If sufficient course work has been accomplished and the instructor feels justified in granting credit for the course work completed, credit may be granted and withdrawal proceedings are unnecessary.
